A Case of Reiter's Syndrome

Abstract
er's syndrome is classically described as the triad of urethritis, conjunctivitis, and oral ulcetation. Since arthritis is now recognized as the only consistent component, imcomplete forms consisting of characteristic arthritis associaterd with
one

more of these features and/or dysentery are common.
We reported a 48-syar-old male who presented with a 3 years history of significant arthralgia nad psoriasiform skin involvement. He had neither an episoke of dysentery nor a history of sexual exposure before the onset of symptomes. He showed a
correlation with the HLA B27 halotype. Creactiver protein levels were significantly elevated. He was treared with corticosteroid, doxucycline, methotrexate and indomethacin for about 3 months resulting favorable improvement.
